Follistatin-344 reconstitution calculator

myostatin-pathway protein

Follistatin-344 is marketed as a myostatin blocker for muscle growth. The real science is awkward for that pitch: follistatin's documented muscle effects come from gene-therapy studies expressing it continuously, while injected protein is short-lived, and no human trial supports the vials sold online. Amounts circulate in mcg, and 1 mg vials make the math error-prone.

Regulatory status (August 2026). Not FDA-approved; sold as a research chemical with no compounding pathway. Prohibited in sport (WADA S4, myostatin inhibitors). Legitimate follistatin research is mostly gene-therapy work, not injectable protein.

This tool converts the numbers you enter (dose ÷ concentration = volume). It never suggests a dose. The FDA has documented hospitalizations caused by mg / ml / unit conversion errors with vial-and-syringe products. If the readout surprises you, stop and verify with your prescriber or pharmacist.

Questions people actually search

Does follistatin-344 build muscle?

In gene-therapy studies (where cells express follistatin continuously) animals show striking muscle growth, which is where the hype comes from. Injected follistatin protein is cleared quickly, and no controlled study shows muscle gain in humans from the vial products sold online.

How is follistatin-344 dosed?

There is no evidence-established human dose. Gray-market discussion runs around 100 mcg daily in short cycles, which is extrapolation from nothing verifiable. From a 1 mg vial with 2 ml of water (0.5 mg/ml), 100 mcg is 0.2 ml, 20 units on a U-100 syringe.

Is follistatin banned in sports?

Yes. Myostatin inhibitors including follistatin are prohibited at all times under WADA class S4, and anti-doping labs screen for this pathway.
