BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide derived from a protective protein found in gastric juice. It is widely discussed for soft-tissue recovery, but human trial evidence is minimal and it has no approved use. It remains prohibited in sport under WADA rules.

Why are BPC-157 amounts usually written in mcg?

Amounts discussed in published animal research and by clinics are typically in the microgram range (e.g. 200-500 mcg), a thousandth of a milligram. Entering mg when a source meant mcg is a 1,000× error - the calculator flags draws that look implausibly large relative to the vial.

Is BPC-157 legal?

It is not an approved drug and the FDA has placed it in Category 2 (significant safety concerns) for compounding purposes. How long does reconstituted BPC-157 last?

Peptide stability after reconstitution depends on storage temperature and handling. Refrigeration in a sealed vial is the standard practice discussed in laboratory literature; there is no FDA-reviewed shelf-life data for this compound.
